Folder content page and what you can do there

The folder content pages show a list of all the items in that folder. Each row has the name/title, whether it is in the menu, the content type, a drop down list of actions you are allowed to perform and the move drop down.

Let's take a look at the actions select box. It has the following options (Managers see them all):

  1. "Hide from menu" or "Show in menu" depending in what state the item's menu visibility was before. This option act as a toggle
  2. Rename allows you to change the name, the title and the long title
  3. Set skin give a form to set the skin to use for this page. If the page is a folder you have the option to set the skin for all children and the children of the children. You can set a skin for the site but choose a different template for a specific page or a folder
  4. Set permissions controls who can access what. If the content type is a folder you can select to propagate the permission settings to the children and the children of the children
  5. Edit content, this allows to edit the content tpe. What that exactly means depends on the content type. For the most common content type, Page, this is the same screen as the Edit link above the page in view mode. Remember you will only see the "Edit" link whe you have the permission to edit the page

Changing the order in the menu can be done by changing the order the items are displayed in the folder view. Just drag an item to the desired row and click the "Save order" button.

In the root folder you will see a link "Import & Export" which will allow you to export the content of your application and import the created file in another application.
